you need and obd reader to tell you what the code is then go to kia service website to find what code means ...if you are in america there are places that will read your code for free....you could try disconnecting and re connecting the battery after about 20 min and see if the code returns....others will advise on free obd locations

I went and read the codes it gave me a cylinder 6 missfire. So I cleared the code and it worked great for about a day then it started doing the short shifts and no power.. It doesnt feel rough as if a cylinder isnt working... Where do i start with plugs then wires? is there a coil for each cylinder"? thanks

the cylinders fire in pairs ( 3 coils on the left bank) so a mis on 6 is a unique fault in no 6 cylinder ....are you sure the dreaded butterflys have not disintegrated and done some damage in no 6 ..did you have the butterfly unplugged as I suggested ??? ..its usually the high number cylinders that are affected ....I think I would do a compression test on no 6 ....let us know how you go ...If you do have to get into heavy dismantle take out all the butterfly stuff and block the two ends where the rod fits then it can never happen ( again )

If its under warantee get it to the dealer asap
