The first thing I would look at is if it is installed correctly, 95% of the time I find bulbs that are installed up side down and the aim is pointed at the stars.
There is an alignment tab on the bulb itself. It should be pointing up.
Good luck

I found thAt the bulbs and or lamps in my Sorento was inadequate to say the least. I checked the install asmentioned and it was still not what I would have liked. If your '03 is the same as my '05 then there is an adjustment screw at the back of the lamp assembly.

You can't really get to it with a traditional screw driver but if you use a flathead you can still manipulate it by using the flathead driver like a gear to turn it.

Now a couple of things I will caution you on are. First mark the are it is currently set to with a different colour paint to have as reference should you want to go back to factory settings. It is very expensive to have them realligned later.

Second only go a maximum of 1 full revolution up. Any more and you willbe blinding oncoming cars. This is where I currently have my Sorento set to and I have to tell you it is 1000% better than before.

Another word of caution is this adjustment screw is for both low and high. I have not seen any disadvantage to my adjustmnt on the high side it too has improved a great deal.
