Default 2005 Kia Sorento Stalls

I have a 2005 Kia Sorento. Occasionally it stalls for a split second, almost like the fuel stalls but it quickly picks back up. This is almost always when I am going up a small incline however yesterday I was sitting still on level area at a traffic light and it stalled for a split second. The check engine light does not come on.

How many Kilometers or miles ?

Last time the Timing Belt was changed and were the sensors changes too?

Last time the Spark Plugs were changes ?

You need to share as much info about you car if you need and its condition,

So you are in Georgia, USA and have a 3.5L V6 and you are at a college..
(you could have supplied us with that in your cp area of info)
The MOST common failure item for your year and model engine is a ....
Crank Angle Sensor....also known as a "Crank Sensor"
The insulation on the three wires coming off of this sensor gets hard and brittle and cracks and falls off...allowing the the wires to either touch each other or touch the engine block and short out the signal it generates...then the ECM can't "see" the pulses and the engine stalls..The cranking of the engine moves the wire just enough to allow the engine to restart until the next time the wires short out again...
The part # is 39310-39800 and can be gotten in the US on ebay for $45
KIA Sorento Engine Crankshaft Crank Shaft Position Sensor Sensors 2003 2006 | eBay
While you have the mechanic (who is doing the work) in there have him replace the timing belt if it hasn't been replaced as of yet ($53.00 and ships from Georgia)
Gates T323 Timing Belt Powergrip Premium OE Timing Belt | eBay
GET A "GATES" brand NOTHING ELSE...
The timing belts MUST be replaced EVERY 5yrs/60k miles and "if" you haven't replaced it YET you are living on borrowed time before the engine gets TRASHED...
If you are due for a second TB (120k miles or higher) replace the tensioner pulleys and possibly the water pump (if it's noisy or leaking)
Information like where/engine type/mileage really helps us help you...
I'm a moderator for these forums and can "see" certain things others can't...
Please post what is found...
