Default Can't loosen fuel filter, any tips or tricks?

I am trying to replace the fuel filter on my 01 Optima LX 2.4L. I tried to loosen the fuel lines but they are so tight the tool slips. I don't want to snap the fuel line or twist it or strip the fuel line part where the wrench goes until no one can loosen it.
I tried WD40 and waiting for 30 mins but that didn't do anything.

Any tips? Am I doing something wrong?
