After all my sensor/tranny issues on my `02 Optima, I`ve decided to never go with Kia car again.....ever.
What do you think?

I have not owned but one kia but i havent had problems out of it. But i say that some kia's could have stuff wrong but some could be really good cars if you keep the maintance up on them.

the only problems iv had with my kia were the door locks (fixed for free) and power steering fluid leak (my fault) so i would buy one again some cars are lemons in every brand there are some some brands have more than others but i would never rule kia out completely because of one car you know ?

My Sedona has had enough problems that I would be on the fence about buying another. It's the local dealership that made my mind up about never buying another KIA. Dealing with Butler KIA has been a pain to say the least. I have had to be rather forceful getting them to treat me fairly. So now every time I go in for service (which with my car is often ) the atmosphere is a bit tense.
The last four cars my wife and I have owned were two Fords, an Acura, and a Subaru. First, we didn't have anywhere the near the problems with the vehicles, but the dealers were pleasant to deal with. I was shocked when the KIA dealer told me they were keeping my van with 38 miles on it for at least a week and refused to offer me a loaner vehicle.

Got my spectra at a kia dealer ship and I didn't like how any of the people I talk to there were to me. Most of the time they were talking to my mom and I was the one who was buying the car. So if I'm going to get another kia, next time it will not be at that place.

Perhaps the newer vehicles are better. I've heard they may be. But with all of the dumb problems and the dealer's "We have no clue. Sorry. At least you didnt pay much for it," kinda answers, I'd say my 04 Optima is the last Kia I will ever own.

I used to love the car....

Poor paint quality, poor service, electrical problems.

At least the engine still runs as well as when I bought it.

On the upswing, it came with rear disks.

I have a 06 spectra...that blows!! ill never buy from Kia again!

The motor is about to throw a rod and its still under warranty and the dealership and kia wont do anything to fix it! They said because the coolant wasnt changed...if this would have any affect on a rod I would say ok...but it doesnt. So "F" kia and their pieces of junk..10yr/100,000 warranty my ass....
