Issue resolved... problems with both a relay and a corroded wire leading from the fuse box...since fixed.
Cheers,
Hi,
I had a recent post on getting the spring for a headlight bulb (2002 Kia Magentis/Optima 2.7 V6)... since resolved.
Now I have a strange problem with my taillights.
Symptoms:
Turn car on with remote key, or press "trunk" button (headlight switch "off")
-- Passenger-side taillights turn on, driver-side taillights remain off
Car turned on, lights turned on (full), car in "Park" -- all taillights are on
-- Put car in "Drive", passenger side taillights turn off
I've replaced all the appropriate bulbs, and the passenger side trunk taillight assembly (holds two sockets, one for the back-up lights, which work properly).
I have a similar problem with the passenger side front indicator light (with a new bulb).
I've checked the taillight fuses by taking them out and inspecting them, and nothing is wrong with them.
Any suggestions on what to check? (I'm not risking a $110 fine for taillights not working....)
Cheers,
