I'm pretty sure that they are the same side mirrors. In fact outside of the front and back, pretty much everything else should be the same. But then again I'm NOT 100% sure.

Default 06.5?

ok what is this mess about the "2006.5"? where do you get this half year stuff? the 06, "06.5" and 07, visually are the same car? there are 3 front end variations throughout the years but all together amount to only 2 different cars. will you clearify for me? maybe im missing something

The model change happend mid year in 2006. so hence the model year 2006.5. And no the 2006 Optima and the 2006.5 Optima are completely different.
And actually the optima was changed 5 times and what you have is the latest. Here are some pictures and years:

2001 - 2002: Original Look

2003: When the change started happening.

2004 - 2005: The lights stayed the same, but the grill changed.

2006: The only thing that changed was the clear corners.

2006.5+: The NEWLY redesigned Optima was introduced.

I have the means to produce a kit, we did a concept a long time ago, but I am not sure if there is actually any interest, most of the Korean kits are over $1000 plus a couple hundred shipping, my plan is to get this for under $1000 shipped
