Smile High mileage experience

My name is Les Gillet, I have a 2002 Kia Majentis SE V6 with 165,000 KMs. I drive about 50K a year and cover a wide range of conditions.
Greetings to the group!
Problems in the last 4 years:
1)Several "loose wiring" issuses.
2)Keyless entry
3)drivers window
4) Check engine light phantom which after $800 became a loose wire.
5) Dealer concerns- miss routed serp belt.

Maintenance done:
1) All scheduled oil & filter changes
2) Brakes @ 96000 first time
3) on the 3rd set of tires
4) rear suspension - control arms & stablizer link
5) Of course the Timing belt.

I am open to any and all questions.

Cheers!

That's great! Personally I'm only hitting the 50,000 Mile marker on my 2004. Bought it used last summer and have had NO serious problems with her.

The only maintanance I've done was the oil changes, air filter changed from OEM to K&N, spark plugs from OEM to NGK V-Power and headlights changed from halogen to Xenon HIDs.

Next on the list is the brake rotors will be changed by the end of the week from OE to aftermarket Cross Drilled and Slotted rotors along with the brake pads. Also FINALLY installing the 17" Motegi rims on my baby!

NEWayz, thanks for sharing your experience with us!

Yes thank you for that. Now I know what to expect in the next 50,000 miles.
I just purchased my '01 optima. I am at 94,000 and I just had to replace my serpantine belt, headlights, and my front rotors.
