Default Oldie but goodie

As everyone can see I'm fairly new to the forum even though my car isn't. I just want to say 90,000 miles and my Optima is still running strong...."knock on wood". Other than normal maintenance, the only thing I had to replace was the catilyc converter. Damn I love that car.lol Car was purchased new 2002

I feel the same way about my '02 Optima LX-V6 except it has less than 13,000 miles total on it since I don't drive many miles per year. Just had it handwashed, waxed and detailed. It looks showroom ready. I know, it should with only that many miles on it! I loved the car from the day I saw it at the Kia dealer when it was new. Very nice quality design in my opinion and wonderful features inside and out. I average 27-29 mpg now on the highway. City is about 19-20 mpg.

Default Running

Our '04 Optima now has 7700 miles, yes 7700, on it and we are very glad that we purchased it with the exception of the mpg. We expected to get better gas mileage out of the V6 than we are getting. Best we ever got was 24mpg, highway miles, at 70 mph.
