Check engine came on as i was driving back into town last night, and brought it into the dealer and had them check it out. Codes came back all referring to the speed sensor...which was replaced by them, no more than a month or two ago.

Any ideas on what could have triggered this? Or what are the odds of this part "malfunctioning, or needing to be replaced" Like what if its somethin else causing this to go bad?

Default Not the sensor

Update on the status:

Apparently it wasnt the Speed Sensor, it was my ECU. So they replaced the ECU in my car and no more CE light on. Although, they said for about a week my car might "act funny" as it is a learning cpu. Talked to a couple of friends and they said maybe for the first 20 starts or so it would still be adapting to my driving...but its been almost a week now and it will shift funny at times.

O, and on a side note, my car was broken into while at the dealer last week! Yay! Luckily i took everything out of my car...cept the little punks stole a stick of my winterfresh gum! Bastards...
