I have the paper work showing 2 batteries being replaced, 3 headlights, one fog light, and my keyless entry doesn't work...they said they found a "short" in the wiring system...but still want me to pay for bulbs, making payments on the car plus continous repair bills is not what I had in mind...I love my car, but I want it to be dependable and not have to pay extra for factory mistakes. Please advise...2003 Optima

Sharon, you speak of continous repair bills. The batteries and keyless entry problems should be under warranty unless you are over 60k. Bulbs and headlights are usually covered for 12 months I've been told but don't know if that is Kia's policy. How long did you have the batteries before replacing? How long did you go between replacing the bulbs before they went out? The dealer has not fixed the problem so it should be not charged off to you under the warranty.
Maybe one of our forum Kia techs can tell you more on this. If it was my Optima I would request meeting with the dealer's management and if necessary request the regional Kia tech to exam your claims.
