Hello everyone,
My father owns a 2004 Optima (I own a 2001) and he is planning on heding to Reno this weekend and might need chains. THe local shop told him he needs to find out if chains will fit on his car. He lost he owners manual and is hoping someone else can help him out. Any advise would be appreciated.

I had to get some tire cables for my 02 Optima. They were the worst thing I've ever done to my car. I followed the instructions to the letter, and they still ended up coming loose and scratching the paint aroung my wheel wells. I will NEVER put chains/cables on my Optima again. I especially won't get them from Walmart.

If I gotta get there and need chained tires, I'll take my 4X4. I use Non-Walmart chains on it.
