i've worked ata a Kia store for 18 months now as a sales consultant...i love it...great product and great people...i drive an '04 magentis Lx 4cyl. with 4 speed auto...great mpg ...lacks in power when mountain driver...but, great city car

Glad to hear you like your Magentis. My wife has a 04 Optima LX 4cyl. They are great cars. I try to drive it alot but she likes it too. lol So I drive my Sorento which is also great!

Not exactly sure if weakness of Optima is on the slope. I always take the fastest lane up slope at 100-120kph. That's where most lighter cars will find hard to follow behind. Maybe it's those aftermarket gadgets that made the difference.

Only dislike my engine noise when competing with Camry to take-off at traffic junction.
