Does anyone out there know if an indicator light showing that the fluid is low is supposed to come on? Yesterday the highway was snowy & wet & as I was driving along the fluid ran out. Driving at 120 kmh blind, I actually spun out into a snowbank & was in shock as an 18 wheeler whizzed by the drivers side.

Looking for your assistance....thanks!

Check your owners manual. It should say it in there if you have that light. Almost all vehicles come with them now.

apparently there is no light showing the windsheild washer fluid is low because I ran out in my Optima today and no light came on.
