Apparently not, 216,000 km on mine, still runs good though smokes a little on cold start up.

What engine and Kia model. You have really got a lot of use out of it.

01 Rio RS 1.5 with auto transmission. It's been a decent little car. My wifes 1994 Honda Accord has 562,000 km and has never given a lick of trouble. I don't expect the Kia will last as long, but it was an inexpensive car after all when new.
