Perfect exactly what i wanted to hear. the one i've been looking at is about 119 $ at canadian tire. and i plan to clamp straight to the pipe i cut it from the old muffler. about size what is the stock pipe size i should be getting so i have no fitting probs...

i think i know what you mean about the offset x center one side comes to the left or right depending how you rotate it and one end is centered? right.

asking sizes cuz im not good at measuring thses things and i'll need to take the car to get the parts

sorry if i sound retarded. its always like this with first timers heh.

Here's a couple shots of my stock muffler im sure it'd work with what i'm planning.

the first picture is the bumper side of the muffler and the second is the inside side of the muffler.

i see how it has a center set and going in to the car it has and left offset that's what you were talking about right? now if i hack off just after the muffler accounting for space for clamping i should be alright.

the rubber things what are they called and does the new muffler have metal pieces coming off so that i can hang it like it is already?

Stock piping is like 1-3/4" or something like that. You'll probably have to buy a reducer from Canadian Tire also for the exhaust the fit the new muffler. And the new muffler won't come the the brackets for the rubber exhaust hangers you'll have to get new ones welded on.

okay i've decided to contact a local garage to weld the parts together for me. I might just have them weld the pieces together i want so that i can just clamp a reducer to the stock pipes. or have them do the whole thing.

my plane is to cut a " U " shape into the bumper the same diameter as the tip i am going to purchase to come off the muffler. I going to have the tip come out of the bumper just shy of 1/2 an inch. i should make sure to get a dual walled tip lol. so i dont have melting plastic. let me know if you think that'll look good.

cuz i sure know it'll sound good. deep tones awww magnaflow
