Default At stop, touch gas, goes to 2000 rpm

When I am at a complete stop and I barely touch the gas pedal the rpms shoot up to 2000 or more and the car really takes off. This only happens when I am at a complete stop. And, it started after I added my cruise control using the vss wire and vacuum from the pcv. I checked all the vacuum connections I could find and couldn't locate a leak. Any help?

OK, took me 3 hours but it was obvious what was wrong when I had someone else touch the gas in drive when I was looking under the hood. The engine moves slightly to the rear. This made the throttle assembly pull on the cruise control cable and tighten it up. This caused the engine to speed up. Obviously when the car hit cruising sped the engine moves back into place and then no-longer does it - not as much resistance means less engine movement. That's why it only does it from a dead stop. I hope this helps someone else.
