remote starter for a 04 kia rio 5spd

Hello every1 I have an 04 kia rio 5spd and I am in the process of putting a remote start in it. I have all but the tach wire hooked and maybe another wire but I dont know. Would this prevent the car from starting by itselfs. I talked to tech support and they have walked me through the process of the ingnition and its all hooked up correctly. Also the remote starter also has an alarm system with it. When i arm the car and start it the the key my alarm goes off so it must be hooked up correctly. I keep the hood closed and all doors shut just as tech support described. Im getting no where with it. I think the tach wire must be hooked up but I dont know if that would be the only reason why it wont start by itself. Please help, anything would be helpful at this point. I have been working on this thing for almost a month and i dont want to lose all my hair(lol).
