well if it tries to start it probably isn't the belt because at least it sounds like it has some compression. if it didn't have compression it you wouldn't hear the bog down of the starter motor when it tries to turn the engine. it almost sounds like it would be the maf or throttle position sensor but i'd be leaning towards the maf. unhook the maf and see if it runs without it. you may have to control the gas pedal to get it going but it should run, but run like crap, without it.
look at the basics...air, fuel, and spark. just because there's fuel in the lines doesn't mean it's not getting enough pressure.
