Default 2001 Kia Rio OBDII Codes

I have a 2001 Kia Rio and i am having some starting issues. It may start every time for a couple weeks and it may not. One thing i have noticed when the key is turned on if the fuel pump primes then it starts if not it don't.
During all this the check engine light has came on a time or two with these same codes P0560 Mod$17, System Voltage Malfunction and code number 2 is P0335 Mod$17 Crankshaft Position Sensor Malfuction-A Circuit. This is how it is listed on this OBDII. What does Mod$17 mean? After a day or so the light goes out.
Better yet does anyone know what might be my problem with this? What would cause the system voltage malfunction and the Crankshaft position sensor malfunction-a circuit readings? I have tried a new Crankshaft position sensor, and it did not change a thing.
Thanks for any help/advice.
