Smile Goodby & Good Riddance

Goodby & Good Riddance!! Not you great posters!! It's the crappy 2003
Kia Rio I just got rid of. Actually, the person that I sold it to now has a fine,
trouble-free automobile. How come? "Cause I fixed all the damn problems
at great expense before I sold it...out of fear something may happen next.
Thank God...no more stupid timing belt troubles....worn out wheel bearings
at all four corners.....squealing brakes....shitty heater controls....cheap door
handles....concrete seats...shall I go on?
Anyways, the lack of a proper dealer network, as well as poor support from
the mother company Kia, leaves any Kia owners that I know as disappointed
as I am. Just the lack of mechanical knowledge at the dealership leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
So now, the vehicle displayed to your left is no longer in my possession, now
replaced by a reliable, trustworthy Toyota Corolla. In fact TWO...as my wife
owns an identical one also. Smooth, solid, and great on gas...I love it!!
So on this note I bid you all Adieu, and wish you all a GREAT CAR...other
than a Kia...in your futures. This has been a fantastic site to find out
information about related problems that helped me solve my own.

Glad to hear you are happy, Toyota is a great car and you will be able to spend more time driving and less time fixing. Toyota/Ford/Honda/Nissan/Suzuki are the only cars to buy new. Happy motoring, and enjoy your new car (that will be reliable AND have a great resale value).
