okay i have read the tech info . all i am asking is do i just line em up and move move. the reason i ask is that before i started this is that it had jumped timing to the point that i had a ticking not a taping . but i noticed that it was off.

well did you rotate the crank two times. if you only did it once then it will appear that they are off but in reality they are not

so now that i have finished this and put it all back to gether i still had my tick . by the way timming was dead before i pulled the belt . so i didnt jump timing at all .. seem to be nothing more than a sticky valve cause it is now gone. but something that has surfaced sinced i put it all back together is a not so smoothing sounding engine.. idle is fine right where it has alwas been . but when i accelerate i notice what seem to be either a exhuast leak or vibration . from the out when the moter is reved it dont sound like exhuast leak. is it possible the motor mounts are missalinged i know i had some troble with the upper one getting it back in there. i just know from the inside its pretty loud and rough . any thoughts any one .. thanks in advance

Or is it possible for an exhuast cam bearing to make that much vibration if it was going out . enough vibration to vibrate the entire passenger side of the car .. it get worse when you accelerate
