Wow its only two quick disconnects on the fuel filter you can pop off by hand and bracket bolt if I remember right ...remove replacement time literally two minutes for pro.
PCV is simple screw in much like a spark plug. Hope they didnt charge you much for that! Sorry to any dealers (if your a good one) out there...but I hate them.
Like he said maybe they would round up to half and hour minimum or do it in the parking lot at advance yourself.
When I went to the parts store, the guy there said they, in fact, didn't have any fuel filters for the vehicle and the PCV valve they had in stock was twice as much as the one they quoted me on.
I am going to buy them online and do them myself. Even 30 minutes labor with parts will come close to $120.

Good decision!
You can always get back to us here if you need more advice, but as you see here most of the comments are that this is quite a simple job, even for a beginner.

I took my car in today to get a new timing belt (before it was too late) and had the guy look into putting a new fuel filter (he was going to do it for free, plus parts).
However, and he showed me with my own eyes, there was no fuel filter visible anywhere on the entire line. That means I must have a revision (with powersteering, with AC) that has it in the tank or doesn't have one at all.
I would say the filter is outside the car near the rear wheel in the drivers side
Let me take a picture tomorrow and I´ll show you.
It´s pretty easy to do it by yourself.
