Got a brand spanking new 2005 RIO, CEL came on in the driveway after the dealer had delivered the car. He had just filled the gas tank.
I checked the cap, seemed tight, lifted the negative lead on the battery for about 3 minutes, no more CEL.

ROTFLMAO...no, I hadn't programmed the radio yet. But after about 25 miles the CEL came back on. Have an appointment tomorrow to get it fixed. If the mechanic will share what he found I will post it here...

Just got back from dealership.

This is what they found, from the ticket..
"TECH STATES HAD CODE P0451"
"TANK PRESSURE SENSOR SHORTED"

There was a lot more, explaining exactly what the tech did..

He replaced the switch, no more CEL!!!
