Default Nowhere to go with OBD monitor problem

2004 rio cinco. at 32000 miles emissions testing failed not obd readiness,
o2 monitor and evap system monitor not ready.

advised and drove additional 400 miles until engine check light came on and replace air intake temperature sensor then.

told to drive more miles for obd computer to reset itself. have driven additional 600 miles and still o2 monitor and evap system monitor show not ready.

inspection station is out of ideas......Dealer says leave it and we will work on it....that doesn't sound good.

seems like there should be some info. have google hundreds of articles.

How about some code numbers for the CEL light. There are lot's of codes for the O2 and evap system. Feed the site some numbers if you can and someone will chime in for sure. Remember it's drive cycles to reset the ecm not miles if i remember correctly till the error has cleared. http://www.kiatechinfo.com/ for service info. Just food for thought you could have a bad gas cap or O2 sensor. Don't forget to clear pending codes also Good luck with it. Reguard's Ronjohn
