I am looking for a repair manual specific to "Kia Rio 2001", Haynes and Chilton manuals for this vehicle do not exist. I accessed the kiatechinfo website looking for a headlight schematic, I found one but it is Headlight schematic for USA models. My problem is with the combination switch for the headlights, american schematic has different color coded wires than the canadian model. please help!
Do have a look through ebay, I got a manual on cd for the rio 2001-2005 for just a few pounds. If you cannot find one, send me your email address and I will send you a copy.
Please send me your own email address, the one I got was returned, it had three nnn's on Miron, which I assume is wrong.
If you got the message through this forum then ok, that is fine,
The link does not seem to work on my Mac. Do you have any suggestions for me? I am looking for wiring schematics for my 2003 Rio RX-V hatch regarding my low beams and dash lights. The dash lights come on when the left signal is selected and than turn off again when signal is off or left is selected. Is this DRL related or switch related? How difficult is the job of replacing the headlight switch?
Can you please send me a copy my email is pcchaos1@gmail.com
attempting to replace a thermostat but the last bolt cannot come off because there is a metal line attached. thank you
Cobra259, you didn't mention if it cost or not, and most of the people asking sam58 for a copy are wanting it for free. Also, for ken2400 info above about Kia tech info web site..........it is not free anymore, sadly. panmike
Well from the looks of it They don't sell to the public any longer. And no, it would not be free if they did.. I know all about KGIS charging now. It a shame they are not doing it cheaper.......
Sorry, didn't no how old this was. I just posted that for other Newbie's like me.
this is some information about the cost for using the www.kiatechinfo.com The following subscription rate options are being offered to provide flexibility for site use: 72 hours ($19.00), 1 month ($150.00), and 1 Year ($1,500.00). Additionally, vehicle security (locksmiths) codes are priced at $14.00 per VIN. None of the existing free subscription account logins will carry over to the new paid-subscription service (every user must create a new account on the new tech site.)
Thanks, Mike
Going back to the original post. Is the email version still available please. I can't afford international phone calls and as I drive a UK model (right hand drive) other versions would not help me.
I Been trying to find a Chilton for a 2005 Rio, and have heard that they have them os disc, has anyone else heard about this, or has anybody else found a repair manual elsewhere?

Hello all,
Is the Email copy still going around? Or if necessary, if people would like to help out monetarily, we could crowd fund someone to go online and pay for the digital version so that they could turn it into a pdf and share it with all. Thoughts?
