Default OBD II Connector Location

Hi guys!
Here is the thing, I bought OBD II scanner while I am in Canada (@ the Canadian Tire, Boxing day, almost 70% off good deal right?).
When I came back here in the Middle East and check the location of the Data Link Connector it's not there! It should be at the right, under the dash of driver side according to the manufacturer of my OBD II.
I also found a "DIAGNOSIS" port under the hood beside the fuse box, but it was not the same connector as what i have in my scanner. I thought they built all the OBD II with the same connector.
Anyway my ride is KIA Rio 2003 RS,1.3L SOHC, Middle East if it may help.
Thanks!

The location should be shown in your owners handbook. On a right hand drive it is usually under the front edge of the dash near the drivers door [right door] down near knee level. May be near the left on left hand drive models.

I said it already, and it is not there. Is there any place the DTC located anywhere inside the car?

In case you still havent found it....

On USA models if you follow the right edge of the steering wheel trim down to the bottom of the dash and there you'll see the black connector. All the USA cars I have looked for it have it in a similar location.

Some manufacturers do have more than one "diagnostic" port. I found two on a Nissan Sentra two weeks ago.
