Default driver side outer door handle broke!

Hi, i have owned my kia rio hatch back from new in 2003 .... and its the best car i have ever owned.... only had a few problems with the cd player but Kia just kept replacing them while it was under warranty.
The only problem i have is that the outer driver handle is broken, I have asked to buy another at a few wreckers, but unfortunatley this seems to be constant problem with this particular car..... has anyone else had this problem? .... the handle is still hanging on there but it seems that a spring has broke or fell off ..... is it just a spring that i need to replace or the whole handle? ..... and if so ..... does anyone know where i may be able to get one ..... I am in NSW Australia .... but not too far from Queensland...... any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Try the following sites - Genuine Kia Parts and Kia Accessories
"Kia Parts" - Kia accessories below wholesale

They have the replacement door handles available for $35.00--$40.00.

Just a tip while you have things torn apart replace the small spring approx 1/4 to 3/8 dia. by about 1/2 inch long. They are known to break and if they do you're locked out and its a $#$%^ getting the door open. Replace with a U.S. spring from the hardware. ACE has them.

thankyou both very much for your prompt replies, I did check out the web-sites but unfortunatley they are all based in the USA .... I am hoping to get something closer, because after the exchange rate and postage .... it will be way out of my price range .... but i did look on ebay and found this :KIA RIO 5/00 -9/02 LHF OUTER DOOR HANDLE to be painted - eBay Doors, Door Handles, Exterior, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 15-Feb-09 16:32:56 AEDST)
would either of you be able to let me know if this model may fit ? I will not be able to get my car through registration if i do not get it fixed.
