Air conditioning adding freon, which is low port?
I have a 2001 Kia Rio and just purchased Freon to add myself because it's 100 degrees this week. I see there is two ports under the hood but don't know if it's the one closer to fender wall or closer to the engine. any help and or a picture would be appreciated.
I believe the 2001 RIO uses R134A refrigerant and the connections would be standardized. The smaller diameter connector is the low pressure side. The recharge hose will only fit it anyway.

Dave is right. The low pressure connector is the smaller connector nearer the engine cover on the larger pipe. The high one is the larger connector one nearer the fender on the smaller pipe. I guess your caps are missing each cap is labled L or H. Good luck. Reguards Ronjohn
Thanks, got it.
