Default How to test the Fuel Injectors? Fuel relay clicking.

Hello.

I got an error code, for injector 1 The car died ud in traffic, and luckily it was just before a gas station. So I was able to get it parked there. The exhaust smelled funny and it was very wet exhaust and white smoke came out. Note that this was only when the car was not running right

That evening I drove home, where I use the rpms up to 5k. up some uphill.
And it was not accelerate rigth.

Dismantled intake, trottle body, etc. relese the fuel pressure and took out the fuel rail. Two of the Injectors had a black coating. But this was cleaned up using brake cleaner.

I plugged the fuel rail and injectors. Put those facing 90 "upwards as Shown in the picture.
(Reason why they facing that way, is to test them. To ensure that they work)

When I put the ignition on, the fuel relay is clicking, and I wonder why ....

Is the fuel system dependable on the vacuum hoses etc?

Ps; The Fuel hoses has been extended for this testing only. The smal filters is only for the extention of the fuel hoses.

Thanks
