Default no Idle sputtering when accelerating

Hello guy I'm new to this forum recently bought a 97 sportage to fix it and use it as a daily driver, the problem is as soon as soon as i come to a stop its start sputtering and dies i have to keep accelerating.Went to advance and they check for codes only code that shows is for the downstream oxygen.

How many oxy gen sensor does the 97 sportage has and where and where they at?

Could a bad oxygen sensor make my make my car act the way is acting.nqt

Which engine do you have??

Both O2 sensors are downstream,
B1S1 is downstream of the engine, sends data to ECU to regulate fuel.
B1S2 is downstream of the CAT converter, only monitors the CAT efficiency...

Need correct code to further advise.... Philip
