Default fuse diagram for 2000 sportage

Hello, I am trying to find a diagram for the fuse box located under the hood. I do not have an owners manual, and one side of the interior fuse box has no power. This is causing my speedometer, tachometer, gas gauge, and temp control not to work, which in turn we think is making the transmission not shift. Does anyone know where to start with this problem, other than dynomite?

all right
lets start from telling where do you live, what sportage it is (engine, trans - assume automatic), some other more or less helpful info. In other words - fill out profile.

As for the diagram - look into kia tech info (link below) use Internet Explorer, since this is the only browser supported. this service is for free.

Default I live in Roseville, Ohio

It is a 2000 Kia with a 2.0 engine. Yes, the transmission is automatic. A friend tested the fuse box and half of it has no power. Do you think this could cause it not to shift properly?

it might, but it all depends how this friend was testing it. Some fuses/relays will not be powered if ignition is off, some others will not be powered if engine is not running. And then you have relays and fuses for lights, wipers and so on...
If it does not shift properly (whatever it means for you - rough shift? late shift? slippage?) it might be caused by several things.

I asked you to fill out profile - whenever anyone else will jump in here will not have to look into your posts what car it is - one look on your profile explains everything.

And another question was - any other symptoms/problems? anything what is more or less related.

Sorry about the profile thing, I guesss I didn't understand. Any way, it all started when the fan blower wouldn't work and he replaced a blown fuse. He also changed oil and rotated tires at the same time. This was on Tuesday. When I went to drive it on Wed., I noticed the gauges not working and it did not shift at all. When I would start out, it would go real slow and then when i got to a certain speed, it ran ok. No slippage or noises or anything like that, it was like it was stuck in high gear, with no low or 2nd. If there is no power to the gauges would this cause it to be stuck in high?

gauges not supposed to make the PCM to fail. It is rather the other way - gauges do not get signal, because something else (on transmission for instance) is broken or disconnected.
I would start checking all connectors - simply disconnect and connect again.
Look into KIA tech info, and find what is where (go to ETM section).
Another thing might be an ignition switch.
