Default Engine Vibration

I have an 01 Sportage. I just replaced the 2 catalytic converters, 2 oxygen sensors, and I put on a new exhaust manifold. Plugs and plug wires were recently changed. Now when I drive, the engine vibrates pretty badly when it gets ready to shift. Anybody got any ideas what might cause that?

The transmission seems to want to shift right at about 3000 rpm. Is that too high or about right? If it's too high, what should it be? And what should I check to get it to shift at the right speed? I've been pulling my hair out on some of this stuff, but I've finally got it down to this vibration problem!

Thanks for any help you can give, Pat

Don't know if its a help but have you checked the diagnostic trouble codes (if you are able to).

Reading from the manual:
RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES.
1. Connect the Kia Power Scan to the OBD-llD LC(Data Link Connector). The OBD-llD LC is located under the left side of the instrument panel. Near the center console.
2. Tum the ignition switch ON.
3. Refer to the Kia Power Scan instruction manual and retrieve any DTCS( Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
4. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Inspect and repair any applicable conditions.

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES.

P0716 Input speed sensor circuit range/performance
P0717 Input speed sensor circuit no signal

Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
To erase diagnostic trouble codes stored in the TCM, ground the pin "j"and "s" of data link connector in the engine compartment after turning
the ignition switch ON or follow the procedure for the Kia Power Scan.

If you need a cd manual I have obtained a few from closing repair shop and can be found on ebay item no: 260387614812 which is easiest way to deal with currency conversions etc through paypal.
