Just wanted to see if there where any specials things to keep in mind with these cars...ie; common problems, things to fix right away...etc. Also, are there any good sites to check out that are Sportage specific...thanks...

DonM Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: West Central Georgia Posts: 26 Drives: 2002 Kia Sportage, 2001 Daewoo Lanos Gallery: 0	Replace the timing belt!!! Mine had 72k miles when timing belt broke. Fortunately, no valve damage. Don't forget to replace water pump and both pullies, also.
