Default Odd Problem

Ok I just replaced my ECT sensor (2 prong one) and now my temp. gauge will not move. It was working perfectly fine right up until I switched them. I have a code P0130 saying the coolant isn't up to operating temp. is that due to a bad thermostat? Also I have a code P0128 for my 02 sensor and P0440 for evap. malfunction, anyone else ever deal with these problems before?

Also wondering if the cooling fan is supposed to stay running all the time doesn't the clutch stop it?

Well the obvious would be to make sure it is connected completely. If it is, disconnect it and take a multimeter to the prongs and check the resistance. You should have about 2.45 killiohms at 68 degrees Farenheit to about 0.322 killiohms at 176 degrees Farenheit.

P0130 is 02 sensor circuit malfunction (Bank1/Sensor1)
P0128 is Coolant Thermostat stuck open
P0440 is EVAP Emission Control System Malfunction

All codes require the ECTS to show a temp to for the ECM to reference. If ECTS is good, I would replace the thermostat, clear out the codes and recheck for codes.

i would change your upstream o2 sensor since that's probably the cause of the p0130. as for the evap problem the route i would take is to do a manual evap test. you'll need a voltmeter, some jumper wires, and some backprobes. if you don't have those things and want a guess at what the problem could be, it could be anything from a bad gas cap, dirty evap air filter, or a bad purge valve or there's even the possibility of a saturated charcoal canister.
