Default Stereo question. What will interchange?

Just got my 2000 Sportage last week and I'd like to update the radio. As of now it's equipped with the factory am/fm cassette which just is't gonna cut it much longer. I been looking on ebay for factory replacements and have found a few I am interested in. One is a factory CD player out of a 2002 Kia Rio, They claim will fit and function in a 2000 Sportage. Another that is grabbing my attention is a factory AM/FM CD Cassette out of a 2002 Kia Sedona. My radio is a single DIN radio with the storage shelf attached to it, The sedona radio is a double DIN radio. Anyone know if this will fit and plug into my car? Or how I can find out? Thanks!

go to crutchfield.com you plug in make, model, year and you'll get a list of everyhting that fits, you can even have a tech help you. Their prices are a little high, but their tech knowledge and support is great. I found out what fit my car (not the Kia) then went to Ebay and bought the exact model............ bingo

I've installed the standard Pioneer device (1din) without any problem except wire connector. I had to bye ISO connector, cut off KIA connector and sold the ISO.
Sorry for my English!

Default crutchfield for the win

I just replaced the stereo and speakers in my sons 2000 sportage. It was very easy and the guys on the phone were great with helping me pick what I needed and at a great price!!! I highly recommend them for anything you could possibly want and customer service is top notch.
