Question gas tank

anyone know where i could find a cheap gas tank for my 99 sportage??
it seems that rusting is a common problem for sportages.

Just changed mine yesterday. Got the tank from a dealer in TN. $167.99 + tax.

nevermind, took the cheap route and just patched it and undercoated it. works great

I tried that on mine but it had so much rust that it wouldn't seal. Glad it worked for you.

yea, you just have to prep the metal the best you can. then apply the patch. i also went over the patch with fiberglass then rubberized undercoating and welded some plates for extra reinforcement on the skid plate.
