hey guys i try search all over the net for a cold air intank and a header for my 2001 kia sportage ex and i cant seem to find one anyone know of any websites that have them for this car.
I dont think they make a cold air intake or headers for kia sportages. but instead of headers you might want to go with a performance muffler or just straight pipes, haha. and for the cold air intake if you get the right size tubing and some rubber clamps you can make your own and just put a cone filter on the end of it.

I dont think that you are going to get a much better location for cold air draw than the stock location...I was climbing over the front the other day when the snorkel really sucked my shirt in. Try looking for a foam filter maybe? Headers? why bother? This 2.0 liter isn't going to flow out any better than the shorty type headers they come with with-out a whole lot of custom intake changes or forced induction. If you are going that far get a different engine swapped into there. Opening the exhaust up makes MUCH better sense...Starting with the cat and going on. But i am afraid what that might do to the before and after cat O2 sensor arrangement???
That's funny you should say that: I was just thinking the same thing. Actually, a minute ago, I was wondering how much shoe-horning I would have to do to fit a GM 4.3L in there.

TH350 or 700R4 probably. I have adapters for both to mate them to Dana 300 or Dana 18 T-cases. Very likely the TH350 with a Dana 300. 350s are a dime a dozen here.

If you need or use that kind of power and torque on the stock drivetrain you'll just twist the axles right off. The thing is built for a small lightweight engine. Opening up the exhaust and intake would be the best bang for your buck, and reprogramming the ECU. You'll need one of the cats for the O2 sensors to run right, and at least put a glass pack on for a muffler. A loud 2.0L without a muffler just sounds like a WW1 biplane. Yeah its loud, but without something to adjust the tone deeper, its just a loud highpitch drone.
