Default 2001 kia sportage power steering HELP

Power steering reservoir is full... power steering stopped working all of a sudden! Is there a fuse for this pump? I don't see that it is belt driven, or am I losing it?

Help Please!

Pump is belt driven, if you can't see a belt, then that is the problem, you need a belt!

ok, belt is there... my bad. It was dark last night. LOL! What should be my system of diagnostics? I am mechanically inclined, this is my first Kia... It was 8:30 last night when it happened and I did not spend alot of time looking, hoping someone can point me in the right direction. fluid is full, belt is good... Filter maybe? Where is the filter?

Thanks again,

Greg

no filter.

can you verify its pumping fluid? engine running, there should be movement of fluid in the reservoir. if there is, then the steering box is bad. if there is no fluid movement, then the pump could be bad.
