Interesting Letter from Kia Motors

FYI, I just received a letter from Kia Motors of America stating that if I had a leaking fuel tank caused by rust or had one repaired that they would replace or reimburse me if paid to have one replaced. This offer was good up to 130,000 miles. I thought I would put this on the forum as I know this has been an issue with the Sportage.

I received the same letter from Kia about a month ago. Perfect timing as my 1999 Sportage had been leaking for about 3 months. Dealer replaced tank, but I had to pay for the new fuel lines. Fuel pump and assembly was reused with no problem. Great, now I just need a way to get them to fix the blown heater core that dumped coolant into passenger footwell yesterday.
