So here is what I did. I fixed the problem.
>Open the car door with the key, set the alarm off.
>Disarmed the alarm with the key in the ignition.
>Pulled the key out,
>Disconnected the positive post from the battery. Let it sit for about a half hour.
>Lock all 4 door buy pushing down on the locks. Then pulled up on all of them, so now they ere all unlocked again.
>After sitting for a half hour, reconnected the positive battery post. Keep the driver door open while doing this.
>Then push down on the door lock while the door is open to lock all the doors.
>Get out, and close the door. The Sportage should NOT give you a conformational 'armed' honk.
>To unlock, put your key in the door, turn left quickly. DO NOT turn the key right or it will arm the anti-theft.
>And whenever you need to lock it, just lock by pushing on the door lock from the inside while the door is open, then shut it. Don't use the key to lock it or the anti-theft will get re-armed.
All is well now.

No issues. I want to thank Shaar from Kia-forums for most the door locking/unlocking procedure. I tried just the locking and unlocking procedure but it did not work by it’s self, until I dis-connected the battery. One final thought, if I had just dis-connected the battery with out doing all the locking /unlocking procedure, that may have worked too, but I did not try it.
Thanks to everyone who help with this. I also hopes this will help others with the same issues.
