Hi from Australia
I have just bought my first Sportage a 99 model.
Haven't done anything with it yet, have to settle into ownership and find what the bugs are.
Just took the rear brake drums off to check the linings, used the hints from here (screwed couple of bolts in, worked fine).
One of my plans is to remove the electric windows and fit manual operation, but as far as I can tell there are no manual ones released in Australia so will have to source from elsewhere, also fit the appropriate
door trims and winders.
Also want shop manuals so anyone with a manual for sale let me know. Not interested in CD types as these are not much good from my experience.
