Default Pinhole leak in water bypass pipe

Even local dealer doesn't stock this (metal) part. Mechanic considering havingthe hole welded, as the shop has no schematics for this part & can't give me an estimate on labor. Does anyone know if this part is discussed in the online manual? (I can't bring it up on my home PC.)

Default Decided to go with the cheap fix - sealant

Labor estimate was $300. (My low rate mechanic stopped answering my calls...) Have been advised not to drive out of town. Thanks all!
