Default Sportage that wont start

I first off am new to the boards. Secondly, I have a 2001 Kia Sportage that is not starting with the key. It is a 5 speed manual and will start and run fine if push started. All accessories (stereo, a/c, and heater) work fine with engine off. I have checked out the following; Battery, Starter, Fuse panel, wires to and from the previosly mentioned, relays in the fuse box under the hood. I located a, what seems to be, starter relay under the dash It has no numbers that I can cross reference and when I attempt to locate this part it's as if it doesnt exist. I need the vehicle working yesterday and the local dealer doesn't have this part having to order it wasting 3 whole days. Is there anyone that knows where I can locate a place online that has these kinds of parts. If you dont know what item im talking about and happen to have a 2001 Kia sportage, I dont know how specific i need to get, with a 5 speed manual 2 wheel drive 4 door and a 2.0 litre DOHC engine then the part is on a peg like thing directly below the steering column the relay itself it abouta 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch square black plastic piece that plugs into a harness with 2 red wires 1 black wire and 1 red/yellow wire. Thank you for your time and thank you in advance for your assistance.

Quote:
Description: The clutch safety switch, sometimes called a clutch start or interlock switch, is an electrical switch connected to the engines starting circuit.

Purpose: The clutch safety switch prevents the engines starter motor from cranking the engine unless the driver applies the clutch pedal. This eliminates the chance of cranking the engine with the transmission in gear, which could cause sudden vehicle movement, especially if the engine starts. In some cases, the clutch safety switch also serves a secondary purposeit disables the cruise control if the driver applies the clutch with the cruise control engaged.
Maintenance Tips/Suggestions: Not all cars are equipped with a clutch safety switch, so check your owner's manual for mention of this safety device. Problems with the clutch safety switch may include a no-start condition, starting with the clutch released and the transmission in gear, and inoperative cruise control. If you suspect a problem with clutch safety switch or its adjustment, consult a professional service technician.

If thats what it is you can cut the wires and splice them together
