Default Rear Springs & Shocks For A 2000 Sportage 2wd

Hello all, I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is anything special that I need to know to R&R the rear springs and shocks on my 2000 Kia Sportage 2.0 rwd? I noticed it sags a little in the rear so I'll be replacing the springs and shocks... Thank you in advance for your help....

It is pretty easy to do...I just replaced my rears with TJ coils and it took only about 20 minutes total. I would just make sure that you have the ability, i.e. jackstands, to hold the frame while you lower the axle enough to get the springs out. Also, I would suggest disconnecting the ebrake cable holder from its position so that it doesn't cause binding when you lower the axle housing.

Hope this helps,

Jon
