Default front lift springs..

does anyone know a factory equivelent to the eibach lift springs for the front end? i've done the tj springs out back, and now want to lift the front end to match, but don't want to buy a complete lift kit for my 1998. has anyone figured out a spring that will work to lift it (i'm thinking along the lines of the tj springs) i'm cheap as heck and can't bring myself to spend anymore than i NEED to

The only other company that makes front springs for the sporty besides Eibach (which has stoped making them) Is a company called Ironman Springs in Australia, besides them youre only options are to have springs custom made ($$$), or run a spacer up front!

Visist the 4x4wires's fourm and ask the same question, that fourm is a offroaders fourm, they know what works a what dosn't from experiance.

Default TJ Coils...

I have a set of stock TJ coils front and rear and I would like to lift my 2wd 2000 sportage...just have some questions for you...

Did you have to change the control arms out in te back? did you use the front TJ springs or the rears?

Thanks,

Jon

i used the rear springs from the tj, it was REALLY easy to do, and no i didn't have to change out anything besides the springs themselves......i'm still trying to figure out a cheap way to raise the front end (right now its still stock up front).........i'm thinking i'll just make a spacer to thread on the top of the strut and see how it works.....i'll let you know.
