Question Very Little Air Flow From Blower (not resistor)

When I turn the blower on for my 95 Sportage, it comes on fine at all settings. The problem is there is almost no air really coming out. On high and set to recirculate I get some air, but it feels like its on low.

Its almost as if theres something clogging up the air passages or something. I took the blower out and tested it. It seems to spin up fine.

I can hear the fan speed up at all the settings too.

Anyone have any ideas? Does someone have a 93 - 96 model that can comment on how hard the air blows when they use the heater/AC?

Thanks,
DrA>

Have you checked to see if the air is coming out of the defrost? If you have a mishap with the hoses and whatnot under there that change the air from the vents to footwell to defrost, everything will default to the defrost position for safety.

If defrost is blowing, regardless of the setting, you probably have a vac. hose that's come undone.
