Unfortuantley, the information in the KIA on-line service manual (Global Service Way) is not correct for aspects of '95 - '99 Sportages. I now also have a Soprtage of that vintage. I would love to find a user manual - in English! I found one, but it's in Thai. The folks at KIA laugh - politely - when I ask about one.
