I'm just guessing here, but I'd say your heater core has sprung a leak.

Your problem is a plugged drain for the AC evaporator. Just jack the Sportage up or crawl under and right at the firewall on the passenger side is a rubber type grommet that is the opening for the AC drain. I've had to cut a larger opening in mine to get it to drain right. You might also take a small squirt bottle and squirt some bleach solution up in it to get rid of mildew that might be blocking it too.

Hope this helps.

Agreed...this is to drain the condensate that forms on the evaporator. Usually this turns up as a wet spot on your driveway but in your case...its on your floor.
