I read this in a post and wondered if anyone knows what this means.
They said that it's not exaclty covered under the 5yr nor the 10 yr waranty but instead by a federal 8yr, 80,00 mile(?) warranty
I have a 2001 Kia Sportage that has 70 some thousand miles on it and the 4 wheel drive has been replaced 4 times in the 4 yrs. I've had it. All those times it was covered by the warranty but it broke again 1 yr. & 1 wk. after my warranty was up on the part & the representative for Kia in my area would not cover it and it is not covered bec. it's over 60,000 miles.
I think now I'm going to have to order the part that's $103 & have it turned into manuel hubs.
